Firefox (part 1)

Firefox is undoubtedly the best browser out on the market. It is the safest and the easiest to customize. I'm going to focus on the customization factor of Firefox.

Firefox is open source so anyone can build on it. There is something built right into Firefox called add-ons. These can be downloaded from Mozilla's site for free. I have two favorites; FoxMarks and Mouse Gestures.

Foxmarks

Foxmarks allows you to access your Firefox bookmarks from any computer. This is a Firefox add-on. I am now going to show you how to install and use Foxmarks!

Installing on your main PC.

  1. Install Firefox.
  2. Download the Foxmarks plugin here
  3. Allow the plugin to install and restart Firefox.
4. On Firefox reboot, you should see a windows like this:

5. Follow the on-screen directions. Here are screenshots of all of the steps:

Ok they're in order, but somethings up with the alignment.

Thanks for reading Part One. Part Two will teach how to access these bookmarks!
