Firefox (part 1)
Firefox is open source so anyone can build on it. There is something built right into Firefox called add-ons. These can be downloaded from Mozilla's site for free. I have two favorites; FoxMarks and Mouse Gestures.
Foxmarks
Foxmarks allows you to access your Firefox bookmarks from any computer. This is a Firefox add-on. I am now going to show you how to install and use Foxmarks!
Installing on your main PC.
- Install Firefox.
- Download the Foxmarks plugin here
- Allow the plugin to install and restart Firefox.

5. Follow the on-screen directions. Here are screenshots of all of the steps:

Ok they're in order, but somethings up with the alignment.
Thanks for reading Part One. Part Two will teach how to access these bookmarks!

Rainy Day
Hey Guys,
Since its pouring out here, I decided to start a blog. It's not really going to be about anything but still itll be fun for me. So today I found some cool stuff that I'm going to try and include in the blog sidebar. One of these things is called Twitter. Now all of you can know what im up to via an RSS feed. Also, i have an AIM widget so anyone can IM me if im signed in, even if you dont have an AIM account.
The other big thing I'm doing today is installing/downloading Xubuntu, an open source version of Ubuntu. For those of you who don't know, Ubuntu is the most popular kernel of Linux. If you don't know what a Linux Kernel is your screwed. (Just kidding Click here to learn about kernels) Because Xubuntu is open source, you can download it for free. Except for the fact that its 528 mb and is gonna take 4 hrs to download. Otherwise its fantastic. Theres another blog soley devoted to Xubuntu which has some good pictures and a video of Xubuntu in action. You can find that blog here.
Thanks and keep up-to-date with me on my Twitter!!

Linux Kernels
A Linux kernel could be thought of as an engine. A linux based OS can be thought of as a car.
One of my operating systems in Xubuntu which is linux based. So Xubuntu is our car. Our car, Xubuntu, runs on the Linux kernel, the engine. Therfore, Xubuntu is based off of the Linux Kernel
Thats the best way I can put it. Google it if you still don't understand!
